Vesta Preston

FAYETTEVILLE
— Vesta June Preston, 80, of Fayetteville died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, in Siloam Springs.
She was born May 8, 1927, in Winslow.
She was a homemaker, a waitress at Skelly 71 Truck Stop and worked at Razorback Cleaners.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pense-Reed Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel of Fayetteville.
She is survived by four daughters, Verda Pense of Mountainburg, Bertha Hester of Clarksville, June Scism of Siloam Springs and Ruby Johnson of Lowell; five sons, Dale and Delbert Preston, both of Fayetteville, Darrell Preston of Natural Dam, Doyle Preston of Siloam Springs, and Danny Preston of Van Buren; a sister, Violet Hall of Springdale; two brothers, Virgil Poor of Miller’s Chapel and Van Poor of Winslow; 29 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

She was a homemaker and a waitress at Skelly 71 Truck Stop and had worked for Razorback Cleaners. Sur vivors include five sons, Dale Preston and Delbert “ Timmy” Preston, both of Fayetteville, Darrell Bim Preston of Natural Dam, Doyle Johnny Preston of Siloam Springs and Danny Preston of Van Buren; four daughters, Verda Pense of Mountainburg, Bertha Sue Hester of Clarksville, June Star Scism of Siloam Springs and Ruby Johnson of Lowell; two brothers, Virgil Poor of Miller’s Chapel and Van Poor of Winslow; a sister, Violet Hall of Springdale; 29 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-6 p. m. Sunday at Moore’s Chapel.
Graveside services will be at 10 a. m. Tuesday at Pense-Reed Cemetery with Herb Wages officiating.
